On-Site Computer Service in Dayton, OH

Our technicians come to your home or office to fix Wi-Fi, printers and PCs and Macs. Regular and emergency service calls are available.

Sometimes it’s easier if the technician comes to you. Double Helix Computers offers on-site computer service in Dayton and across the Miami Valley, for homes and offices. Call us and we’ll send a technician to fix your Wi-Fi, printer or PC or Mac on the spot, with same-day service possible in some cases.

What we can help with

  • Wi-Fi and internet setup. Getting devices connected, and sorting out a network that drops or crawls.
  • Printer configuration. Connecting a printer to your computers, or getting one that has stopped printing working again.
  • General computer troubleshooting. Slow PCs, error messages and software problems on PCs and Macs, laptops and desktops.
  • Other issues that trouble your computer at home or work.

We specialize in sales and repair of PC and Mac computers, and our on-site team has the experience, professionalism and punctuality to get you up and running. For the kinds of problems we handle, see our Mac repair and PC repair pages.

When a visit makes the most sense

  • Home or office networks. The router, Wi-Fi and printers are in your building, so it’s easier to fix them there. If the problem is an internet or email connection that won’t work, a visit can solve it faster than carrying a computer in.
  • A new computer to set up. Connecting a new machine to your printer and network is easiest at home or the office. Ask whether we can set it up for you there, and see our new PC setup page for what setup involves.
  • Several computers at once. One visit can cover a whole small office.
  • Equipment that’s awkward to move, such as an iMac or a desktop with lots of cables.

When to bring it to the shop instead

Some problems need a workbench and parts. Cracked screens, liquid damage, failed drives and dead logic boards are better handled at our Dayton shop, where you can walk in for a free inspection at the counter. A technician can tell you over the phone which route makes more sense.

How to book

Call or email us to set up an on-site visit. We offer regular and emergency service calls to new and existing customers. We have asked customers to book about 48 hours in advance, and priority service is available on request. Ask about same-day availability if your need is urgent.

Before the visit, it helps to have a few details ready: the make and model of the computer or printer, what’s wrong and when it started, and where your router and modem are located. We’ll explain our on-site rates before you book.
